Spay Neuter Incentive Program - Feral and Barn Cats

SCHS will provide vouchers for spay or neuter for feral (wild) and barn cats that have human care givers. These vouchers are free of charge for qualified care givers.
Surgeries are done by SNIP participating Vet Clinics around Sheboygan County.

Our participating Veterinarians rely on us to pre-qualify applicants Their trust in us and the applicants' truthfulness is vital to the on-going success of our Spay Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP) Financial assistance is granted based on your situation. The program operates by a voucher system These vouchers are accepted by some area Veterinary Clinics. If you qualify for a voucher(s), we will inform you of the services we will cover under SNIP and which Vet Clinics accept the voucher(s).

Your request will be processed as funds are available. Applying for assistance does not guarantee that you will receive it. You will be responsible for the cost for any additional vaccinations, tests or other procedures that we do not cover or that you request from the Vet. WE DO NOT advocate de-clawing of cats. If you choose to have your cat de-clawed at the time of the surgery, it will be done at your own expense. We strongly advise AGAINST the de-clawing of cats. We will be happy to provide you with information on humane, healthy alternatives to de-clawing

If you are interested in this program, please download, print and complete the application found below. Again, your request will be processed as funds are available.
